Bench-Made Shaker Timepiece with butter nut and pine flat top mortice and tenon case, zinc roman numeral painted dial, upper glazed door opens to the dial and barbed hands, lower door lenticle for pendulum viewing and hinged for access, eight day period "banjo" movement with step train, recoil escapement and lead weight.
CONDITION:
No significant repairs or replacements, old wood to make the case, interior surfaces and backboard inside and out stained to appear old, lacking lower door key, movement appears recently cleaned and repaired.
